The annual Mutya Ning Katutubo beauty pageant in Tarlac is set to take place this February, continuing its mission of celebrating the beauty, culture, and heritage of indigenous communities.
In a recent social media post by Inomersia Photography, 14 candidates from various Sitios have been introduced, each vying for the coveted title of Mutya Ning Katutubo 2025.
The barangay officials of Sta. Juliana, Capas, Tarlac, first launched the pageant in 2021 as a platform exclusively for Katutubo women to showcase their talents, intelligence, and cultural pride.
This year’s event is made possible through the efforts of Ary Vis Sip, the pageant’s dedicated organizer, who continues to support young Katutubo women in their journey into the world of pageantry.
The Mutya Ning Katutubo 2025 coronation night will take place on 13 February 2025, at the Sta. Juliana Covered Court.
With the pageant growing in prominence each year, it serves as both a celebration of indigenous beauty and a platform for cultural representation in the local pageant scene.
