Maymay teases new music, projects for 10th anniversary

As she approaches her 10th year in the entertainment industry, Pinoy Big Brother alumna Maymay Entrata took to social media to reflect on her journey and tease exciting new projects.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Entrata looked back on her growth in showbiz, where she explored acting, hosting, and modeling while trying to find her true passion.

“Halos isang dekada na akong nasa industriya. Acting, hosting, modeling — napasok ko at inaral ko po lahat sa dahilang di ko pa alam kung ano yung gusto kong tahakin,” she wrote.

("I've been in the industry for almost a decade. Acting, hosting, modeling — I went into and studied everything because I didn't know what I wanted to do.")

Despite reaching several milestones, she admitted that something still felt missing.

“Habang lumilipas ang panahon, marami po akong na-experience, marami rin akong goals na nakamit — pero parang feeling ko noon may kulang pa rin,” she shared.

The turning point in her career came with the release of Amakabogera, a song that not only topped the charts but also empowered her.

“I’ve done music before, but it all changed when I released Amakabogera. I was empowered. I felt strong. Bigla kong naramdamang umaapaw ang passion ko po. I felt happy every time I learned something about music. That was the moment I decided to pursue it seriously,” she revealed.

After more than a year of preparation, Entrata excitedly announced that she will soon be releasing new music that reflects her journey and emotions.

“May bagong music po akong lalabas very soon — music that reflects lahat po ng pinagdaanan ko at lahat ng laman ng aking puso. I’ve reached another turning point in my career. I want to remake myself, I want to be reborn,” she declared.
