Singer-actress Maymay Entrata reflects on the frustration of fleeting romances and confusing mixed signals in her latest single, "Sinta," a dance-pop track that explores the desire for a love that is genuine, steady and certain.

Penned by Maymay alongside ABS-CBN Music creatives, content and operations head Jonathan Manalo and Nameless Kids member Nhiko Sabiniano, the song captures the emotional fatigue of relationships built on uncertainty while reminding listeners not to settle for less than sincere affection. Manalo also produced the track.

"Sinta" is Maymay's third release this year, following "What We Love" and "Masunog Man," both of which continued her streak of writing deeply personal songs inspired by her own experiences with love and self-discovery. While "What We Love" leaned into dance-pop, "Masunog Man" embraced a pop-rock sound.

Earlier this year, Maymay also submitted "Masunog Man" for consideration in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category at the 2027 Grammy Awards, marking another milestone in her growing music career.

Known for empowering tracks such as "AMAKABOGERA," "Puede Ba," "Tsada Mahigugma," and "Paradise,"the singer has steadily established herself as a songwriter whose music blends infectious pop melodies with personal storytelling.

Her music has likewise gained international attention in recent years. She received a nomination for Best Asia Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards, performed the Filipino version of "Nasaan Ang Hiling" for Disney's Snow White, and appeared on a Times Square billboard through Spotify's EQUAL campaign.

Maymay was also featured in the Recording Academy's "It Goes to 11" series, where she visited the Grammy studios and spoke about her journey as an artist.
