Selected post offices across the National Capital Region (NCR) remained open Thursday to provide essential services despite the general suspension of government work caused by typhoon “Maymay.”

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. suspended work in government offices under Memorandum Circular No. 122 due to the effects of the typhoon, but the Philippine Postal Corporation maintained operations at key branches.

Central post offices in Manila, Makati, Quezon City and Caloocan at the LRT Northmall provided reduced service hours, operating until 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, retail locations situated in major commercial centers maintained regular schedules, operating until 5 p.m. These include the Robinsons Ermita Post Office, the SM Savemore Nagtahan Post Office, and the SM MOA Terminal Post Office.
