BYD Cars Philippines, in partnership with ACMobility, has introduced the BYD Seal Advanced — a new variant of its flagship electric sedan that combines impressive range, cutting-edge safety features, and refined design. This rear-wheel-drive electric vehicle aims to bring the brand’s performance and technology to a broader audience at a more accessible price point.

The Seal Advanced offers a driving experience that balances performance, efficiency and safety. With a 61.4 kWh Blade Battery, it delivers a solid range of 510 kilometers (NEDC), making it a practical choice for both city commutes and longer drives. This variant features BYD’s Cell-to-Body technology, which integrates the battery directly into the car’s structure.

Under the hood, or rather the rear axle, a 203 PS Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor powers the car, delivering 310 Nm of torque. The sedan sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds, blending quick acceleration with smooth handling.

Convenience is key to Seal Advanced’s flexible charging capabilities. Its 110 kW DC fast charger can juice up the battery from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. For regular use, the 7kW AC charger allows for an overnight recharge at home in around 12 hours. These options make it easier to embrace an electric lifestyle without stressing over charging stops.

Step inside the Seal Advanced, and you’re greeted by a cabin designed for both luxury and functionality. A rotating 15.6-inch touchscreen dominates the dashboard, paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for seamless connectivity via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
