Kapamilya actress Maris Racal’s latest film, Sunshine, has earned a spot in the prestigious 75th Berlin International Film Festival (BIFF).
The exciting news was shared by the film’s producer on social media, who wrote: “BIG NEWS! SUNSHINE IS COMING TO BERLINALE.”
According to the announcement, "Sunshine" has been officially selected for the Generation 14plus competition category at the festival, marking its European premiere.
“We are proud to announce that SUNSHINE is an official selection at the 75th Edition of the Berlin International Film Festival under the Generation 14plus Competition! 🤸♀️,” the producer shared.
Directed by Antoinette Jadaone and produced by ANIMA Studios and Project 8 Projects, Sunshine tells the compelling story of a young gymnast who discovers she is pregnant just as she prepares for the national team tryouts.
The Berlin International Film Festival, one of the world’s most renowned film events, will take place this February, providing a global platform for films around the world and its talented cast and crew.
