Lee Min Ho returns to Manila for ‘MINHOVERSE’

OG oppa is back as global hallyu superstar Lee Min Ho is set to make waves in Manila once again this year.

The South Korean actor recently announced his much-anticipated “MINHOVERSE” fan meeting tour across Asia on his social media platforms.

The tour kicks off in Seoul and will make stops in Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, Jakarta and Manila before concluding in Tokyo, Japan.

“Countless Minoz have come together to create the world of Minho, MINHOVERSE. Now, let’s continue this journey together, even closer,” Lee Min Ho shared in his announcement.

The post also emphasized that the schedule is subject to change, with additional details to be revealed soon.

A familiar face

This marks Lee Min Ho’s return to the Philippines after his October 2023 visit as the “Good Guy” ambassador of SM Development Corp. (SMDC).

During the SMDC event at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, the actor celebrated the company’s 65th anniversary with his Filipino fans, leaving a lasting impression with his charisma and heartfelt interactions.

Known for his iconic roles in hit K-dramas, Lee Min Ho remains a household name worldwide. Among his most popular series are:

Boys Over Flowers (2009): Lee Min Ho’s breakout role as the charming yet complicated Gu Jun-pyo catapulted him to international stardom.

City Hunter (2011): He thrilled audiences with his action-packed portrayal of Lee Yoon-sung, a skilled operative on a quest for justice.

The Heirs (2013): As the wealthy heir Kim Tan, he brought a mix of romance and drama that captured viewers’ hearts.

The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016): Lee Min Ho played the witty and cunning con artist Heo Joon-jae.

The King: Eternal Monarch (2020): Lee Min-ho stars as Lee Gon, the king of a parallel universe, who crosses dimensions to find his destiny with Kim Go-eun, a police officer.

Pachinko (2022): Lee Min-ho plays Koh Hansu, a wealthy merchant with a mysterious past, caught in a multigenerational saga of love, loss, and survival.

When the Stars Gossip (2024): Lee Min-ho portrays a gynecologist who travels to a space station and meets Gong Hyo-jin, an astronaut.
