Fire Sheep year favors steady growth, says Marites Allen
The Year of the Fire Sheep is about building lasting success through patience, discipline and clear direction.
If 2026 was the year of hustle, 2027 will be the year of building something that lasts.
That was the message of Philippine Feng Shui expert Marites Allen as she unveiled her 2027 forecast at Spaces, World Plaza Tower in Bonifacio Global City, while also introducing Destara, a new digital platform that brings together nearly three decades of her Feng Shui expertise.
According to Allen, the Lunar Year of the Fire Sheep begins on 6 February 2027, while the Four Pillars year starts around 4 February. She explained that Yin Fire represents creativity and inspiration, while Sheep Earth symbolizes nurturing, patience and responsibility. With no visible Metal in the annual Destiny Chart, she said discipline, sound judgment and strong foundations will play a bigger role in the coming year.

“The pace of 2026 encouraged action. In 2027, what matters is choosing a clear direction and building something that will last,” Allen said.
Allen also shared the year’s favorable and challenging directions based on the Flying Star chart.
She identified the Southeast as the home of the No. 8 Wealth Star, the Northwest for the No. 1 Victory and Success Star, the Southwest for the No. 6 Mentor Star, the South for the No. 4 Romance and Scholastic Star, and the Center for the No. 9 Future Prosperity Star.
Meanwhile, she advised caution in the North, where the No. 5 Misfortune Star resides; the West, home of the No. 2 Illness Star; the Northeast, which carries the No. 3 Conflict Star; and the East, where the No. 7 Loss and Betrayal Star is located.
Allen also outlined the outlook for the Chinese zodiac signs.
She said the Boar, Horse, Dog, Dragon and Snake are expected to enjoy stronger opportunities in areas such as career, relationships, recognition and partnerships.
The Monkey, Sheep and Rabbit are likely to experience steady progress through supportive relationships, leadership opportunities and personal growth, although Rabbits should remain cautious with finances and trust.
For the Tiger, Rooster, Rat and Ox, Allen advised patience, diplomacy and greater attention to health, savings and decision-making.
She emphasized, however, that a person’s complete Four Pillars chart provides a more accurate reading than the Chinese zodiac sign alone.
Alongside the forecast, Allen launched DESTARA, short for “Destiny Is in Your Stars,” a lifestyle and destiny-guidance platform powered by the proprietary Marites Allen IP Brain. The platform offers personalized forecasts, timing guidance, compass tools, compatibility insights and an interactive digital adviser.
“Learn to use technology, but never stop thinking for yourself. AI can widen access to knowledge; responsibility for our decisions must remain human,” Allen said.
