Holiday road accidents surpassed 600 as of 3 January, the Department of Health (DOH) reported Friday.
The DOH logged an additional 29 new cases on Friday, bringing the total to 606 cases.
This marks a 31 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Of the total, seven people have died from road crashes, with four of them involved in motorcycle accidents.
Additionally, 527 of the victims were not using safety accessories, including helmets and seatbelts.
A total of 433 of the cases were motorcycle accidents.
Meanwhile, 115 of the victims were under the influence of alcohol.
