The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) is focused on delivering more housing units in 2025 under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s flagship Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

This follows last month's ceremonial turnover of 4PH units in Palayan City to overseas Filipino workers during the Pamaskong Handog para sa OFWs in Malacañang.

DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar confirmed that more 4PH units will soon be delivered, citing the completion of several buildings at various project sites.

"We are now starting to see the initial results of 4PH projects—decent, safe, and affordable housing units in condominium-type developments," said Secretary Acuzar.

"Sa mga susunod na linggo ay inaasahan namin ang sunud-sunod at tuluy-tuloy na turn over ng mga 4PH units sa ating mga beneficiaries," he added.

So far, more than 1,000 applications under 4PH are being processed by Pag-IBIG Fund at four project sites.

Pag-IBIG Fund is supporting 4PH projects in Palayan City, Bacolod City, Bocaue in Bulacan, and others.

Meanwhile, the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) is nearing the completion of buildings at two projects: Crystal Peak Estates in San Fernando City, Pampanga, and People's Ville in Davao City.

Currently, 56 ongoing projects under 4PH are in various stages of construction across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

In addition to 4PH, DHSUD, through its key shelter agencies, continues its regular housing programs.

Secretary Acuzar noted that it took two years to realize these 4PH projects due to the shift to vertical housing, or condominium-type developments, and delays in documentary requirements from private partners.

Under 4PH, DHSUD is prioritizing condominium buildings to maximize the use of government land for housing.

Secretary Acuzar assured that, like commercial condominium projects, all 4PH developments will include ample open spaces, parks, playgrounds, and clubhouses.
