Rumors of a snubbing incident involving Kathryn Bernardo and It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu surfaced on social media after videos of the ABS-CBN Christmas special were played on different platforms.
One video showed Bernardo giving Paulo Avelino a welcome kiss. What it looked like is that Bernardo did not give Chiu the customary beso-beso and purposely snubbed her. They were also seen in another video where they seemed to be not talking to each other.
But another video surfaced on Tiktok where Bernardo and Chiu can be seen in a short banter and they were even seen laughing together.
With this, fans of Bernardo came to the defense of the actress.
“sa mga nagsasabi na pangit ugali ni kath dahil hindi niya pinansin si Kim..ano msasabi niyo dito? yan ang tunay na ugali na nag isang kya idol ko yan (To those saying Kath has a bad attitude because she did not pay attention to Kim...what can you say about this? That’s the attitude of the only one K, which is why she’s my idol),” one fan said.
“wag nyo ng gawan ng issue si QK. mahal n mahal ng masa yan kaya nga ang HLA road to 2B (Don’t make an issue about QK. The masses love her which is why Hello, Love, Again is on the road to two billion),” said another fan.
Heart Evangelista criticized for raffling off massage chair worth P560K
Netizens found impractical the decision of fashion icon Heart Evangelista to raffle off a very expensive massage chair.
In an Instagram reel, Evangelista was seen in a Christmas party for her friends and loved ones.
In the video, she was seen raffling off a massage chair worth P560,000.
For most netizens, it was an impractical decision, saying she could have just distributed the amount to the needy.
“Makakain po ba yang upuan na yan? Convert to cash ipamigay sa mga nakatira sa lansangan pagkain kahit papano sumaya sandali ang pasko nila kahit 5 milyon pa yan wala ring halaga wala ring kwenta (Can that chair be eaten? You convert it to cash and give it to street dwellers, food, so that they will be happy during Christmas even for a little while. Even if that were worth five million, there’s no value, it’s worthless),” one disappointed fan said.
‘Wish Ko Lang’ draws flak for sexy art card
Wish Ko Lang, a weekend show of the Kapuso network, drew flak on social media because of their recent controversial artcard.
In a recent episode, the show’s art card read: “Mister, nagkunkunwaring nagsisimbang gabi para tumikim ng ipinagbabawal na bibingka (Mister, pretending to attend the midnight mass just to savor prohibited rice cake).”
Not a few were aghast with the art card as they found it very salacious, which prompted the management of the show to change it to: “Mister, nagkukunwaring nagsisimbang gabi para mambabae (Mister, acting like attending midnight Mass to womanize).”
Not a few were disappointed at the way stories of Wish Ko Lang are being treated.
“True! Dati tampok yung pagpupursige ng mga taong gusto nilang tulungan. Ngayon ata need may pang vivamax na kwento para matulungan ka (True! They used to feature people who persevered whom they wanted to help. Now, it seems you need to have a Vivamax kind of story for them to help you),” one guy said.
“Sana noon palang pinalitan na ng GMA yong title ng show hindi na tugma sa concepto. Ano e2 Pra lang masabi umabot ng decada yong palabas ni repormat. Ito yong dapat sinisita ng MTRCB (They should just have changed the title of the show back then because it does not match the concept anymore. What’s this, just to say they have reached one decade and it was reformatted? This is something that should be questioned by the MTRCB),” another fan wailed.
