KUALA LUMPUR — Selangor Red Giants coach Michael "Arcadia" Bocado is throwing his full support behind his fellow Filipinos Fnatic ONIC PH after his team fell to Team Liquid Indonesia in the lower bracket final of M6 World Championship last night at Axiata Arena.
The Selangor Red Giants simply known as SRG, is the reigning MSC champion and MPL Malaysia champion. One of the favorites in the tournament, SRG defeated Team Spirit in the lower bracket semis but ultimately lost to Team Liquid ID in the end.
"Both teams are very strong, but for me, of course, I support our country," Arcadia said when asked for his thoughts on the M6 World Championship final.
"I think this is Fnatic ONIC PH all the way. I think the Philippines gets to defend the [M-Series world title]."
The Philippines has been a dominant force in M-Series, touted as the grandest stage of competitive Mobile Legends. Since M2, the Philippines has consistently won the world title and is the defending world champion with Falcons AP Bren claiming the M5 crown.
With a third meeting for all the marbles between Fnatic ONIC PH and Team Liquid ID on the horizon, Arcadia did not shy away from sharing his bold prediction about the M6 World Championship finale.
"4-2," Arcadia predicted when asked about the possible outcome between Fnatic ONIC PH and Team Liquid ID.
