Let the Holiday parties begin! We all look forward to celebrate the “Photographer to the Faaabulous” Rupert Jacinto. The exclusive Faaabvlous XII photo exhibit, book launch and gala night celebrates decades of talent and creativity, and also supports several advocacies such as the Hydrocephalus Foundation of the Philippines and the construction of chapels in Nueva Ecija.
The “faaabulous” name is inspired by the title of Rupert’s Washington Post feature, where the author brings us into the world of high-society in the United States. There he retells how ladies gushed about his work, including the Baroness Garnett Stackelberg, who summoned Rupert for the occasion. His work as high-society photographer precedes him not just here but overseas, too.
There’s no stopping this visionary. We donned looks dripping in faaabvlosity and fantasy and headed to the Marriott to view Rupert’s most recent portrait exhibit. And it was all fabulous throughout the night from the outfits, food, to the guests — with the guests of honor including ambassador Johann Brieger and his wife, Roswitha Brieger, Ramon Orlina, Minnie Osmeña and Marivic Vazquez.
Time might flown by so quickly, but thanks to Rupert Jacinto, we will always have something to look back on and remind us how beautifully we celebrated life. Congratulations on another year of faaabulousness! Cheers!
