The first reunion of Bai Mora Napsa Lagayan's direct descendants and relatives was held at Palacio Del Sur, Zamboanga City, on 24 December 2023. The 35th Sultan Phugdalun Kiram II, the royal son of 32nd Sultan Punjungan Kiram, Bai Mora Napsa Lagayan's second children with 30th Sultan Muwallil Wasit Kiram, spearheaded the historic clan affair.
The other direct descendants of the legendary woman, Dayang Dayang Sitti Rada Kiram Hashim, the eldest; and Dayang Dayang Putli Jahara Kiram, the youngest, also attended the event.
The affair talked about how Bai Mora Napsa Lagayan became the love of life of the 30th Sultan, Muwallil Wasit Kiram. It was delivered by her direct grandson, Datu Maharadja Lailah Alianapia Kiram, who in his short talks corrected the misconception of her marriage to the 30th Sultan of Sulu and North Borneo that prevailed since the showing of her life in a broad show titled "The Abduction of Bai Mora Napsa", that surely was mistakenly thought to the abduction of her mother, Bai Nafiesah, by her Father Datu Balbangsa, at the auditorium of the old building of Notre Dame of Jolo, sometimes in the early 1970s before the outbreak of the internationally known GRP-MNLF conflict.
The show since then generated a diverse impact on her life and to the posture of the Sultan of Sulu and the ancestral institution, the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo.
The 35th Sultan Phugdalun Kiram II openly declared that the clan's unity could be an important contributing element to further strengthen the posture of the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo.
The 35th Sultan of Sulu and North Borneo also said that in further looking and tracing back the bloodline of his grandmother, there can be no doubt that it is traceable to the Royalty in Maguindanao Province, Maas Kamlon, the patriarch of the Estino Clan popularly called Maas Bawang and many others in different municipalities in the 1st and 2nd Districts of Sulu and Simunul, Tawi-Tawi.
Bai Mora Napsa's bloodline produced five prominent leaders for the Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo. It began with her second child, 32nd Sultan Punjungan Kiram extended to her grandsons, 33rd Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, 34th Sultan Esmail Kiram II, Datu Raja Muda Agbimuddin Kiram, who passed away before ascending to the throne, and the present reigning 35th Sultan Phugdalun Kiram II.
After the affair, Dayang Dayang Sh-vetlana Kiram, the eldest daughter of 34th Sultan Esmail Kiram II, who is both direct great-granddaughter and grandson of legendary Bai Mora Napsa, together with Hja. Abrija Darkis, another great-granddaughter, and participation of all descendants of Bai Mora Napsa's siblings planned the second reunion.
The first reunion attended unexpectedly by 113 descendants was in fulfillment of the plan of the late Datu Ahmad-Narshad H. K. Sampang, who passed away this year.
Dayang Dayang Satra best Kiram Julkipli and Dayang Muharna K. Jumadil-Pingay were the masters of ceremony.
