Farm Fresh beefed up its think tank by signing Japanese coach Hideo Suzuki as team consultant for the 2024 Premier Volleyball League season set to begin in February.
Known for his strategic expertise and battle-tested system, Suzuki is expected to incorporate his Japanese style of coaching to that of head coach Jerry Yee to help the promising young team soar to greater heights.
His first foray in the country was a successful one after he steered the Kurashiki Ablaze to the mid-season Invitational Conference throne at the expense of Creamline.
Suzuki will not only be instrumental in the development of Farm Fresh players but will also extend his expertise to elevate the performance of teams under the umbrella of Strong Group Athletics, particularly in the collegiate ranks.
Foxies team manager Kiara Cruz warmly welcomed Suzuki to the club.
"We are thrilled to have Coach Hideo Suzuki join Farm Fresh as team consultant. His proven track record and coaching are assets that will undoubtedly elevate the team's performance. We look forward to a season of growth and success under his guidance."
Farm Fresh finished in 10th place in the 2nd All-Filipino Conference with a 2-9 record.
