A major buy-bust operation by the Southern Police District led to the arrest of three individuals involved in illegal drug activities in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig City.
The operation took place along VP Cruz, Purok 5 at approximately 12:05 a.m. on 9 December 2023.
The three drug suspects arrested by personnel of the District Drug Enforcement Unit were identified as alias Liza listed as a street-level individual, 43 years old, and previously served a sentence for drug-related offenses, alias Samson, 54 years old identified as a High-Value Individual pusher, and alias Abdul, 41 years old listed as High-Value Individual pusher.
The operation was conducted in coordination and guidance from various law enforcement units that led to the seizure of four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, with an estimated weight of more or less 100.10 grams, valued at ₱680,680.00, one genuine ₱1000 on top of four pieces ₱1000 boodle money used as buy-bust money, and an android phone.
Complaints for Violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26 in relation to Sec. 5, under Art II of RA 9165 are being prepared against the arrested suspects.
