Operatives of the Manila Police-DSOU (District Special Operation Unit) arrested a wanted person facing charges for syndicated Estafa Wednesday dawn in Las Piñas City.

P/Maj.Edward Samonte head of the DSOU identified the suspect as  Armando Naga y Tumandao, male, 54 years old, married, networking finance officer and residing at Block 3 Lot 4 A. Luwag Street, BFRV, Las Piñas City. 

The said suspect was subject of a manhunt for several days as the police, through an informant reported his whereabouts.

The arrest was on the strength of a warrant issued by Hon. Rosa Samson, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Branch 105, Quezon City, dated 20 February 2020, with no bail recommended.

Before the serving of the warrant, said accused was previously arrested by the operatives of  MPD-DSOU by virtue of another warrant for the Crimes of Syndicated Estafa and Estafa under Art. 315, Par 2(A) as amended by PD 1689 where bail was recommended.
