King’s Gambit School Team bets win Chess Tournaments

There's no stopping Coach Richard Villaseran's King's Gambit Online Chess SchoolTeam's rampage as 2 of their bets Jian Carlo Rivera and Tiv Omangay ruled separate tournaments in Antipolo and Pampanga.

14 year old Jian Carlo Rivera led a 1-2 sweep for King's Gambit Online Chess players with 12 year old Sunner Oncita placing 2nd. Rivera scored an impeccable 18.5pts in 19 games to win the championship with Oncita scoring 17pts.

Over in Pampanga, Tiv Omangay continues to show remarkabe improvement and he is establishing himself as one of the best players of Pampanga after winning an open tournament, besting more seasoned and higer rated opponents, scoring 6.5pts in 7 games.

15- year old.Michael Jan Inigo tied for 3rd on the 18 tournament in Negros Oriental as he continues to establish himslef as one of rhe rising stars in ther region.

7 year old prodigy Marco Sanido placed an amazing 11th in the U18 invitational tournament won by Jian Carlo Rivera winning 9 games against older opponents.

12 year old Enzo Hernandez made it to the top 6 of the U13 Batang Pinoy qualifier in Bulacan.

Coach Richard Vilaseran expressed satisafction over his wards' performamce. " It's amazing that every week, different players win tournaments. It can't make me more prouder as a coach. But we will continue to focus on our bigger goals next year and that is to win the national age groups and ASEAN age groups, said Coach Villaseran.

Coach Villaseran aims to produce national age group and ASEAN age group champions in the next 2 years and the national master, FIDE Master and woman chess titles that go with them.
