Four explosions rocked three cities in Sweden in a span of one hour on Thursday, sending bomb squads scrambling to the crime scenes.
Gothenburg police received two reports of bombings in separate addresses after 1 a.m. local time.
The two explosions were 10 minutes apart.
"Both sites have been cordoned off and technical investigations are ongoing," police said, adding that the national bomb squad had been called to the scene.
"There are no reports of people being injured, only material damage," police added.
The two other blasts at residential buildings followed one hour later in Norsborg — a suburb south of Stockholm — and in Nykoping, about 100 kilometers south of the capital.
In both cases, police said no one was hurt.
Police are investigating the motive for the blasts.
The four explosions add to the 109 detonations recorded as of 15 August this year.
In 2022, Sweden saw 90 blasts and another 101 cases of attempted bombings or preparations for bombings, according to police data.
