Former Nexplay EVOS jungler John Paul "H2wo" Salonga is bracing for a life outside of his comfort zone as he gears up to play for RSG PH in MPL PH Season 11 which is slated to begin next week, 17 February.
H2wo used to be one of Nexplay's Big 3 together with YAWI and RENEJAY. Having been with the same team since MPL Season 6, the popular streamer is slowly starting to adjust to the new environment that RSG presents.
"RSG is more disciplined when it comes to scrim schedule and sleep. They are stricter," H2wo said.
RSG PH, the MPL Season 9 champion and Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2022 champion, will be missing two key players in their roster as mid laner Aqua and jungler Demonkite opted to take a breather next season.
With Demonkite away, H2wo suddenly finds himself as the team's main jungler in the upcoming season. And having been denied playing time in Season 10, the 20-year-old is well aware that he has to grind harder than ever to fill the void that Demonkite left.
"I was not given playing time last season but I am still eager to play. It is just that I was not given playing time. I am ready for RSG now because I am in the main five so I would double my effort and eagerness," H2wo stressed.
