P/Brig. General Kirby John Brion Kraft, director of the Southern Police District, said the erring alien is wanted for violation of BP 22 also known as the Bouncing Check Law.
The Australian national was arrested by Makati City Police Warrant and Subpoena Unit personnel together with those from the Guadalupe Nuevo Substation at about 10:15 a.m. on 22 December (Thursday) along Valdez Street corner Molina Street Barangay Poblacion, Makati City.
The suspect was identified by Kraft as Jordan Dereque y Allan, 48 years old.
The accused has a pending warrant of arrest for violation of BP 22, docketed under Criminal Case No. M-15-09-1305 and M-15-09-1306, issued by Hon. Judge Fay L. Garcia – Sasis, dated 15 November 2016 pending before Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 4, of Cagayan de Oro City.
The bail recommended for the temporary release of the suspect was pegged at 25,000.
