The Philippine Coast Guard District in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao on 30 October said it has rescued 1,962 individuals among 758 families in Maguindanao at the height of Tropical Storm "Paeng."

The PCG also assisted 36 wounded, and recovered the bodies of 15 fatalities.
