In line with his commitment to assist more struggling communities across the country, Sen. Bong Go had his team conduct a three-day relief activity for hundreds of indigent residents in Batac City, Currimao, and Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte from 26 to 28 September.
Go in his video message.
Held at the respective covered courts, the team distributed snacks, masks, and shirts to 769 Ilocanos while some of them received cellular phones, bicycles, shoes, and balls for basketball.
Furthermore, the Department of Social Welfare and Development provided livelihood grants that the beneficiaries may use to open up a small business to sustain their daily needs while coping with the challenges brought by the ongoing pandemic.
