BoC raises P22.9M from confiscated Rolls-Royce Cullinan auction

The Bureau of Customs (BoC) generated P22.952 million from the public auction of a seized 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan last 30 October, officials reported.
BoC records show the luxury SUV was among multiple vehicles confiscated in 2025 in Pasay City due to evidence of unlawful importation.
Subsequent verification revealed the vehicles had no corresponding records in the Customs Processing Database, prompting legal seizure proceedings pursuant to Section 1113 of the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
The sale brings total BoC revenue from public auctions to P146.677 million for the first nine months of 2026, with the Port of Manila accounting for P115.889 million of that total.
Customs officials stated that all proceeds from public auctions are remitted to the Bureau of the Treasury to assist in funding national government programs and essential public services.
“Every successful auction serves as a reminder that our enforcement efforts yield positive returns for the public,” BoC commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said.
“In the end, the proceeds collected are funneled into the national treasury, helping to fund programs designed to benefit our citizens,” he added.
