Honda Philippines brought its nationwide riders convention to a close in Cagayan de Oro on 24 October, with the 2027 Click160 among the main attractions of the event.

The Mindanao gathering was the third and final leg of the 2026 Honda Riders Convention, which had earlier visited Luzon and the Visayas. Motorcycle owners and riding clubs attended the event, which combined motorcycle displays with road safety activities and opportunities for riders to meet fellow enthusiasts.

The updated Click160 drew attention with its sportier design and darker exterior styling. Honda said the 2027 model also received performance improvements and additional features, although the company did not provide detailed specifications in its announcement.

The scooter was presented under the theme “Power Your Game,” with Honda executives joining the presentation during the convention.

Beyond the new motorcycle, participants had opportunities to test ride Honda models and attend road safety seminars. The program also introduced riders to MyHonda+ Philippines, the company’s mobile application for motorcycle owners.

Motorcycle displays and motorshow activities gave visitors more opportunities to see the brand’s products. An e-sports competition and a grand raffle were also included in the program.

Female motocross riders supported by Honda were among the participants who drew attention during the Mindanao gathering. They performed an off-road demonstration that gave spectators a closer look at their riding skills and experience on dirt tracks.

Honda has been encouraging greater participation by women in motorcycle riding, particularly in activities traditionally dominated by men. The motocross demonstration provided an opportunity for female riders to show their abilities before the wider motorcycle community.

The convention also included a blood donation activity organized by Honda Philippines in cooperation with the Cagayan de Oro local government and Honda Riders Club presidents.

It was the second leg of the company’s blood donation initiative, which encouraged members of motorcycle clubs to donate blood to help replenish supplies at medical blood banks in Northern Mindanao.

Honda Philippines president Takeshi Kobayashi said the Mindanao convention gave the company another opportunity to connect with Filipino riders and strengthen relationships built through previous gatherings.

He said the event continued the company’s efforts to promote motorcycle use while developing closer ties with its customers and riding communities.

Honda’s senior officials were also present at the convention, among them general manager for sales Hervic Villa, national motorcycle sales manager Noelyn Quiaonza and Mindanao field sales deputy department manager Climaco Sacmar.

Honda said it would continue to support rider safety programs and activities that encourage more women to participate in motorcycling.
