Honda Philippines has introduced the 2027 Click160 with a revised 157cc engine, sportier styling and additional features for everyday use. The updated scooter carries a suggested retail price of P110,000.

Unveiled on 16 October, the latest Click160 comes with several changes to its appearance and equipment. Honda has also reworked the engine to improve acceleration and torque, particularly for riders who regularly travel through city traffic.

The scooter retains a 157cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled eSP+ engine. According to Honda, the revised engine provides better throttle response and stronger acceleration.

Fuel consumption is rated at 46.7 kilometers per liter based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC). Actual fuel economy will depend on traffic conditions, riding habits and other factors.

Honda did not provide horsepower or torque figures in its announcement, although the company said the engine improvements were among the major changes to the 2027 model.

Apart from engine performance, the Click160 receives several practical features intended to make daily travel more convenient.

A fully digital instrument panel displays essential riding information, while a two-tone leather seat and spacious floorboard provide room for the rider to sit comfortably. The rear grab handle also has a revised design to provide additional support for passengers.

Storage space comes from an 18-liter luggage compartment for personal belongings and other everyday items. A new pop-up hook provides another place to secure bags or small purchases. The hook can be folded away when not needed.

Honda has also added a built-in USB Type-C charger, which allows riders to charge compatible mobile devices while on the road.

SPORTY bodywork, forged carbon design accents and colored cast wheels give the updated Honda Click160 a more aggressive appearance.

ROSS White is among the three color options available for the new Honda Click160.

Security features include the Honda Smart Key System, which eliminates the need to insert a conventional metal key to start the engine. The system comes with an anti-theft alarm and an Answer Back System that helps owners locate their motorcycle.

The scooter also has an all-LED lighting system for better visibility. Its Combined Braking System (CBS) links the front and rear brakes to help distribute braking force more evenly.

In terms of appearance, Honda has adopted a new design direction under its “Power Your Game” concept.

The 2027 Click160 has sharper body details and a more aggressive profile than its predecessor. Forged carbon design accents, colored cast wheels and the redesigned rear grab handle give the scooter a sportier look.

Honda has also introduced three color choices. Buyers can select Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Evolution Gray or Ross White.

The company said the changes were developed with urban riders in mind, particularly those who use their motorcycles for regular commuting and other daily activities.

Takeshi Kobayashi, president of Honda Philippines, said the company wanted to improve both the appearance and performance of the Click160.

“With the Click160, we redefine what the riding experience can be. From its bolder design up to the improved engine, every upgrade on this model was made with the rider in mind. Through the combination of its new style, improved engine performance, and features, we’re finally delivering something that can power their game,” Kobayashi said.

He added that the revised styling and engine improvements were accompanied by convenience features intended to address the needs of motorcycle owners.

The Click160 remains part of Honda’s scooter lineup in the Philippines, where motorcycles are widely used for commuting and personal transportation.

With a suggested retail price of P110,000, the 2027 model offers buyers an updated engine, new styling and additional convenience equipment in a familiar scooter package.
