
More than 1 million pesos worth of suspected shabu was intercepted from a 45‑year‑old newly identified high‑value during a buy‑bust operation in Barangay Maharlika Village, Taguig City, on 14 September.
At around 10:30 p.m., operatives of the Southern Police District's (SPD) Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with Sub‑Station 7 of the Taguig City Police Station, conducted the operation in front of Salman Motorshop along Mindanao Avenue.
Confiscated items included three sachets of suspected shabu, the buy‑bust money, and a white Android phone.
The suspect will face charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The arrested suspect will be brought to the SPD District Drug Enforcement Unit for documentation and the filing of appropriate charges.
