SAN PASCUAL, Batangas — Police served a warrant of arrest against a man facing eight counts of syndicated illegal recruitment while he was detained at the San Pascual Municipal Police Station on Friday afternoon.
The warrant was served at around 2:30 p.m. on 2 October at the station’s custodial facility in Barangay Poblacion.
Police said the accused is facing eight counts of syndicated illegal recruitment under Republic Act 8042, or the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act, as amended.
The cases were filed under Criminal Case Nos. 36331-26 SMR, 36332-26 SMR and 36337-26 SMR to 36342-26 SMR.
The warrants were issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 77 in San Mateo, Rizal on 26 June 2026.
No bail was recommended for the eight counts.
An Alternative Recording Device was used during the service of the warrant.
Police said the warrant will be returned to the court of origin for proper disposition.
