As a media girlie, my calendar is a relentless cycle of press launches, red carpets, brand activations, and last-minute evening events. If there is one non-negotiable rule in my beauty routine, it is this: I simply cannot attend an event without my winged eyeliner.
In an industry where you are constantly in front of cameras, under harsh studio lighting, or running across the city in high humidity, your eye makeup needs to stay razor-sharp from morning call times to late-night afterparties.
I’ll be honest: when I first bought a Dazzle Me eyeliner, I was skeptical. We’ve all been burned by cheap eyeliners that skip, smudge, fade to gray, or bleed into fine lines two hours into an event. But after putting them through the absolute ringer, I can confidently say these liners punch far above their price point. They deliver rich pigment, pinpoint precision, and serious smudge-proof staying power—all for a fraction of what high-end beauty brands charge.
Talk about an affordable slay. Here’s my honest review and the 4 signature eyeliner looks keeping me event-ready:
The Vibe: Sharp, professional, and timeless.
Best For: Press conferences, daytime networking, and panel discussions.
How to Do It: Start at the outer corner of your eye and draw a thin line extending upward toward the tail of your eyebrow. From the tip of that wing, drag the liner back toward the middle of your eyelid to create a tiny triangle, fill it in, and hug your lash line tightly to the inner corner.
The Vibe: Edgy, high-fashion, and effortlessly cool.
Best For: Brand launches, cocktail events, and nighttime galas.
How to Do It: Create your standard winged liner, but keep the flick extra thin and elongated. Then, starting from the center of your crease, draw a delicate, floating line that arches parallel to your main wing. The fine tip of the Dazzle Me liner makes pulling off these crisp graphic lines surprisingly easy.
The Vibe: Elongated, sultry, and sharp.
Best For: Flash photography and close-up content creation.
How to Do It: Focus on the inner V-corner of your eyes. Extend a tiny, sharp downward point right at the tear duct to visually stretch your eye shape. Pair it with a subtle outer wing to give your eyes a instantly snatched, almond look that pops on camera.
The Vibe: Relaxed, smoky, and cool-girl effortless.
Best For: Behind-the-scenes shoots, studio days, and casual media lunches.
How to Do It: Lay down a line along your upper lash line with a Dazzle Me pencil or felt liner, then immediately diffuse the top edge using a small angled brush or cotton swab before it completely sets. You get defined eyes with a softer, smoldering finish.
