Muntinlupa cops seize P214k shabu




The Southern Police District arrested a 49-year-old woman and seized 31.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P214,200 during a search operation in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa City, over the weekend.
Personnel of the Muntinlupa City Police Station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted the operation at about 10:24 p.m. by virtue of Search Warrant 26-032 issued by the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court on 15 September.
Police arrested alias Lea, an unemployed woman listed as a drug personality, and seized from her 11 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.
The drugs had an estimated total weight of 31.5 grams and a standard street price of P214,200.
The suspect was brought to the SDEU office for investigation and documentation before the filing of a criminal complaint for alleged violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Rodel A. Pastor as part of the district’s continuing campaign against illegal drugs.
