Police arrested two alleged drug suspects and confiscated a total of 61 grams of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Urdaneta City and Binmaley on 14 September 2026.

In Urdaneta City, personnel of the Urdaneta City Police Station and the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Region 1, conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation from 2:45 p.m. to 3:10 p.m.

The operation resulted in the arrest of a 28-year-old unemployed man, who is single and a resident of Urdaneta City.

Authorities said they seized one gram of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P6,800. The substance was contained in three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, including those allegedly sold during the operation and recovered from the suspect.

Also recovered were a genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money, a Realme Android mobile phone, a disposable lighter and an empty cigarette pack.

Later that night, joint personnel led by the Pangasinan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit conducted another buy-bust operation in Binmaley from 10:48 p.m. to 11:32 p.m., also in coordination with PDEA–Region 1.

The operation led to the arrest of a 60-year-old married tricycle driver from Lingayen, Pangasinan, whom police identified as a high-value individual.

Police said they confiscated 60 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P408,000. The drugs were contained in four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.

Authorities also recovered a P500 bill used as buy-bust money and 12 pieces of P1,000 bills used as boodle money.

The recovered evidence in both operations was marked and inventoried at the scene in the presence of the suspects and mandatory witnesses, as required by law.
