  • DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan -- Personnel of the Dagupan City Police Office (DCPO) arrested three wanted individuals, including a man ranked 4th on the region 1 most wanted list, during a series of manhunt operations conducted on 14 September 2026.

    Police captured a 68-year-old fishpen caretaker ar around 9:30 p.m.  of the said date. Joint teams from Police Station 5, the City Intelligence Unit (CIU), and the City Investigation and Detective Management Unit (CIDMU) served the arrest warrant in Dagupan City. The suspect faces charges for three counts of rape, two counts of statutory rape, and sexual assault, with no bail recommended.

    Earlier that evening at around 8:10 p.m., personnel from Police Station 1, alongside intelligence and investigation units, arrested a 27-year-old male shipper in the city. He was apprehended for sexual assault under Republic Act 7610, with bail recommended at 200,000 pesos.

    The first arrest of the day occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. when Police Station 4 operatives served a warrant against a 57-year-old female caregiver residing in San Fabian, Pangasinan. She was taken into custody for theft under Article 308 of the Revised Penal Code, with bail set at 10,000 pesos.

    Operating personnel used body-worn cameras and alternative recording devices during all three arrests to ensure procedural compliance. The suspects were brought to their respective police stations for processing and remain held at the DCPO Custodial Facility in Poblacion Oeste while awaiting court proceedings.
