Thailand is turning the page to a new chapter of cultural exchange as the Thai Trade Center Manila makes its debut at the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) 2026. Through “Melody of Books,” the center will bring the sights, sounds and stories of Thailand closer to Filipino readers.

From 9 to 13 September, visitors to the SMX Convention Center Manila can enter a world where Thai literature meets culture, creativity and interactive experiences. At its pavilion on Level 2, booth numbers 2-48, 2-49, 2-54 and 2-55, the Thai Trade Center Manila will present notable literary works alongside activities inviting Filipino audiences to discover Thailand beyond the page.

More than a showcase of books, “Melody of Books” celebrates storytelling’s power to connect cultures. Experiences inspired by Thailand’s literary and cultural heritage will offer book lovers, families, students, and curious visitors opportunities to encounter new stories and forge meaningful connections.

“Our debut at the Manila International Book Fair marks an exciting opportunity to bring Thailand and the Philippines closer through the universal language of stories. We hope ‘Melody of Books’ inspires Filipinos to discover Thailand from a new perspective and strengthens the cultural connections shared by our two countries,” said Sutinee Vathana, director of the Thai Trade Center Manila.

As Thailand opens its books to Manila, “Melody of Books” invites visitors to experience the country’s stories, culture, and traditions in ways that reach beyond the written word.
