Operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Las Piñas City Police Station arrested a newly identified high-value individual and his companion during an entrapment operation along Strawberry Street in Golden Acres, Barangay Talon Singko, Las Piñas City early Saturday morning.
Police identified the primary suspect as alias Brad, 27, jobless and a resident of Barangay Talon Singko, Las Piñas City, and his accomplice as alias Rohollah, 29, jobless and a resident of Bacoor City, Cavite.
At around 12:40 a.m., operatives of the station's drug enforcement unit conducted a drug buy-bust operation in the area. An undercover officer acting as a poseur-buyer successfully purchased suspected shabu from alias Brad, leading to the immediate apprehension of both suspects at the scene.
Seized during the operation werw four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing approximately 39.44 grams with a standard drug price of P268,192, along with a black coin purse and the buy-bust money used in the operation.
Formal complaints for violation of Sections 5 (Sale) and 11 (Possession), Article II of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared against alias Brad, while a separate complaint for Violation of Section 11 (Possession) will be filed against alias Rohollah through inquest proceedings before the Las Piñas City Prosecutor’s Office.
