A street-level individual was apprehended during a drug buy-bust operation in Las Piñas City early Thursday morning, 27 August.

Arrested suspect was identified only by the alias Bossing, 29, unemployed and a resident of Naic, Cavite.

At around 2:43 a.m., Las Piñas City Police Station's Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a drug buy-bust operation along Gatchalian Drive, Barangay Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas City.

During the operation, a police officer acting as poseur-buyer transacted with the suspect, resulting in his arrest.

Police recovered four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing approximately 71.10 grams, with a standard drug price of P483,480.

Also recovered were a black leather sunglasses case and three P100 bills used as buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect is currently under police custody, while a complaint for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed through inquest proceedings before the Office of the City Prosecutor of Las Piñas City.
