  • Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is expanding its after-sales services by offering eligible vehicle owners free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, giving customers access to on-site support when they encounter common vehicle problems.

The program, launched in partnership with the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP), starts this August and covers new Toyota Tamaraw and Lite Ace units sold beginning August 2026.

Eligible owners can receive assistance for flat tires, battery problems, minor mechanical issues and emergency fuel needs. The program also includes towing of up to one intervention or 25 kilometers to the nearest Toyota dealership.

Membership is valid for one year from the vehicle release date. Customers can activate the service by scanning the QR code included with their membership card.

Aimed particularly at Tamaraw and Lite Ace owners

The initiative is particularly aimed at Tamaraw and Lite Ace owners, including entrepreneurs, businesses and families that rely on the vehicles for regular transport and operations.

“At Toyota, our responsibility does not end when we hand over the keys. We remain committed to supporting our customers throughout their ownership journey,” said TMP President Masando Hashimoto.

Hashimoto said the partnership reflects the shared commitment of Toyota and AAP to road safety and customer support.

AAP president Augustus Ferreria said the program could also contribute to improving driving habits and road discipline.

“Partnerships such as this with Toyota Motor Philippines go beyond providing emergency roadside assistance; they help us build a culture of safer, more responsible motorists,” Ferreria said.

The companies have previously worked together on road safety and responsible motoring initiatives, including the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup.

Eligible customers may contact their authorized Toyota dealership for details on membership registration and program coverage.
