  • The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is aiming to lure in potential investors from Chinese enterprises in the renewable energy and new and emerging manufacturing sectors during its recent China Investment Mission on 18 August 2026.

    One of the companies that the AFAB delegation paid a visit to is the Anhui Tianda New Energy Co., Ltd. (Tianda Solar), According to Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, the plant visit is part of AFAB’s efforts to explore potential investment opportunities.

    Administrator’s Group and Corporate Affairs Department Head Atty. Percival B. Peralta, and Executive Assistant II and Personal Secretary to the Administrator and CEO Mr. Abdul Jabbar Sumandar Hadji Malik accompanied Pangandaman during the visit.

    Tianda Solar’s Vice President Yaowei and Overseas Sales Manager Suellen Zou welcomed the AFAB delegation at the company’s manufacturing facility is located at the Chuzhou High Tech Zone in Tianchang City, Anhui Province.

    Tianda Solar is a wholly owned subsidiary of Anhui Tianda Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd., or Tianda Group, which has been recognized among China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises and top manufacturing enterprises for several years.

    During the visit, the Tianda Solar executives provided the AFAB delegation with an overview of the company’s manufacturing operations and facilities.

    The delegation was shown the mid portion of the solar panel manufacturing process, including cell tabbing and stringing, module lay-up, Electroluminescence (EL) inspection, lamination, trimming, framing, and final packaging for both domestic and international customers.

    Tianda Solar focuses on the research and development, production, and sales of photovoltaic modules and photovoltaic power generation systems.
