The Southern Police District (SPD) arrested six drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Makati, Muntinlupa, Pasay, and Pateros on Thursday, 13 August.

In Makati City, operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Makati City Police Station arrested alias Gelo, 40, and alias Alvin, 44, during a buy-bust operation at P. Binay Street, Barangat Bangkal, at about 1:25 a.m.

Operatives seized approximately four grams of suspected shabu valued at P27,200 along with the buy-bust money and other evidence.

Meanwhile, in Muntinlupa City, SDEU personnel arrested alias Eloy, 44, a listed drug personality, during a buy-bust operation along Biazon Road Extension, Barangay Poblacion, at about 6:30 p.m.

The operation led to the seizure of approximately 4.7 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P31,960.

In Pasay City, SDEU operatives of Pasay City Police Station, arrested alias Asok, 51, a watchlisted drug personality, during a buy-bust operation at Sunflower Street, Barangay 184, at about 7 p.m.. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 4.5 grams of suspected shabu valued at P30,600.

In Pateros, personnel of the SDEU arrested alias Charlie, 57, and alias Alfredo, 45, during a buy-bust operation at F.C. Tuazon St., Barangay Tabacalera, at about 7:45 p.m. Police seized approximately three grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P20,400, including the drugs recovered from the possession of both suspects.

All arrested suspects will be charged for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, and other applicable provisions, are being prepared for filing before the respective Prosecutor’s Offices.
