'Battle of Fates' universe expands with spin-off 'House of Fates'

Fans of Korean spiritual traditions and reality entertainment have something new to look forward to as Disney+ expands the world of its hit series Battle of Fates with an upcoming spin-off, House of Fates.
Following the record-breaking debut of Battle of Fates earlier this year, Disney+ has officially approved House of Fates, which will take viewers beyond the competition format and into an immersive exploration of Korea’s centuries-old spiritual practices.
The new series will be led by three of the most prominent fate readers from the original show. Alongside familiar faces from Battle of Fates, they will welcome guests from around the world and take them on a unique journey across Korea.
Rather than competing against one another, participants in House of Fates will become part of a cultural and spiritual adventure. Their itinerary will include visits to locations associated with strong spiritual significance, traditional ceremonies, regional customs and specially curated dining experiences.
At the heart of the series will be personal fate readings, where guests will open up about their lives, relationships, challenges and experiences. These intimate conversations will be paired with opportunities to witness Korean shamanistic practices firsthand, offering an unusual glimpse into a side of Korean culture that has attracted growing international interest.
The series comes from the creative team behind Battle of Fates, including its original writer and producer. It follows the success of the first season, which premiered on 11 February and quickly became a major hit for Disney+ Korea.
Audiences can catch all 10 episodes of Battle of Fates season one on Disney+, alongside other Korean reality and variety titles such as I Am Boxer, The Zone: Survival Mission, and My Name Is Gabriel, which features BLACKPINK’s Jennie.
