Korea’s top fate readers will compete against one another in Disney+’s reality series Battle of Fates. 

The show will feature masters of shamanism, tarot, face and foot reading, saju and of different schools of divination. 

Battle of Fates will see these fortune tellers compete in a series of challenges designed to test their abilities. Using every tool at their disposal, from communing with spirit guides to fans, bells, dowsing rods, deduction and even modern-day laptops, the fate readers will compete to give the most accurate information possible to avoid elimination and advance to the next round.

Since ancient times in Korea, only a gifted few have claimed the power to read fate, channel fortune and interpret signs from the beyond to predict the future of the living.

Battle of Fates premieres its first four episodes on 11 February. The fifth, sixth and seventh will stream on 18 February while the eighth and ninth episodes will be available on 25 February.
