VinFast has opened 21 electric motorcycle showrooms in major Philippine cities as the Vietnamese manufacturer begins local sales of the Evo, Feliz II and Viper.

The outlets will handle sales and authorized services for the three models. Customers may also arrange test rides, ask about home charging and see how the brand’s battery-swapping system works.

The opening follows an early booking program that began more than a month before the launch. VinFast reported thousands of reservations from customers nationwide, although it did not disclose the total number.

VinFast is entering the market with models that use removable batteries, which may appeal to customers who do not have a garage or a convenient charging point at home.

Each motorcycle has two battery compartments beneath the seat. Buyers may purchase their units with the batteries or sign up for a subscription plan.

Subscribers can exchange a depleted battery at a VinFast station instead of waiting several hours for it to recharge.

A battery exchange takes about one minute, according to VinFast. The short stop could be useful to riders who spend much of the day on the road and cannot set aside several hours for charging.

The Evo serves as the entry model and reaches a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour. It can cover up to 150 kilometers when fitted with two fully charged batteries, which makes it suited for daily trips around the city.

Feliz II has a top speed of 90 km/h and places greater emphasis on everyday utility. VinFast positions it for customers who use a motorcycle for regular commutes or work.

Viper also reaches 90 km/h but carries a sportier design. Its electric motor delivers a maximum output of 5,200 watts, giving the model stronger performance than the Evo. It is aimed at younger riders who want more technology and a livelier ride.

Customers who subscribe to a battery plan on or before 30 September 2026 will receive free battery swaps for one year.

The program allows up to 20 exchanges each month. Customers with two-battery subscriptions are also covered, although every battery exchanged counts toward the monthly limit.

VinFast lists warranty coverage at four years plus an additional two years or 60,000 kilometers plus another 12,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. Coverage remains subject to the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.

Plans also call for 30,000 battery-swapping cabinets across the country through partnerships with infrastructure providers.

Vo Thi Cam Tu, CEO of VinFast E-Scooters and E-Bikes for international markets, said the showroom network supports the brand’s long-term plans for the Philippines.

Access to battery services and aftersales support could help electric motorcycles fit more easily into the daily routines of Filipino riders.

The Philippine rollout follows the opening of 20 VinFast electric motorcycle dealerships in Indonesia in July.

Together, the two launches expand the brand’s retail presence in Southeast Asia, where motorcycles remain among the most widely used and affordable forms of transport.
