Police apprehended a 44-year-old immigration officer listed as a station-level most wanted person facing qualified human trafficking charges on Wednesday afternoon, 15 July.
The arrest was executed at about 3:30 p.m. along A.P. Reyes Avenue, Barangay Carmona, Makati City.
The apprehended individual was identified only by the alias Rolando, a resident of Barangay Sta. Cruz, Makati City.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of an active warrant of arrest for qualified trafficking in persons under Section 4(J) in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act 9208, as amended by Republic Act 10364.
The warrant was issued on 9 July 2026 by Judge Isagani Gomez Calderon of La Trinidad, Benguet Regional Trial Court First Judicial Region Branch 8, with no bail recommended.
