The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) apprehended the region’s number 8 most wanted person during a precision operation in Marikina City on Monday night.
At around 6:15 p.m., operatives from the Marikina City Police Station’s warrant and subpoena unit and police sub-station 1 arrest3r the suspect in front of Robinsons Graceland along J.P. Rizal Street, Barangay Malanday.
The accused was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Marikina City Regional Trial Court Branch 168 for severe charges, including rape by sexual assault, with a recommended bail of P200,000, and statutory rape with no bail recommended.
Official records confirm the suspect is not classified as a street-level individual or a high-value individual.
Following a medical examination at the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, the suspect was processed and is currently detained at the Marikina City Police Station’s custodial facility pending a court commitment order.
