Makati raid nets P408K drugs

Police arrested a “high-value” suspect and three accomplices during a drug raid in Barangay Olympia on Saturday night, seizing an estimated P408,000 worth of suspected shabu, authorities said.
The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said operatives confiscated approximately 60 grams of suspected methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, along with various drug paraphernalia during the operation on 4 July.
The four suspects remain in police custody. Investigators are preparing documentation to file criminal charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.
NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin praised the officers for the operation, stating that intelligence-led enforcement remains central to the region’s anti-illegal drug strategy.
“This operation makes one thing clear: NCRPO will not give illegal drug activity any room to breathe,” Aberin said. “By taking down high‑value targets and cutting off the networks that fuel their trade, we are striking at the very core of the supply chain.”
