Great Wall Motors (GWM) has launched the 2026 Haval H7 in the Philippines, with prices that put the hybrid SUV below the P1.7-million mark across the range.

The new five-seat SUV arrives in three variants. The Haval H7 HEV 2WD starts at P1,298,888. The Haval H7 PHEV 2WD is priced at P1,548,888. The Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV 4WD tops the lineup at P1,698,888.

All variants use a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but each one pairs it with a different hybrid system.

The entry-level HEV 2WD produces 247 PS and 540 Nm of torque. The PHEV 2WD raises output to 326 PS and keeps torque at 540 Nm. It also offers up to 105 kilometers of electric range under the NEDC cycle.

The top Hi4 PHEV 4WD gets a dual-motor system. Output rises to 364 PS and 760 Nm of torque, while electric range is rated at 91 kilometers.

The two-wheel-drive models use GWM’s one-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. The Hi4 PHEV 4WD gets a three-speed version of the same system.

The Haval H7 measures 4,800 millimeters long, 1,950 mm wide and 1,843 mm tall. It has a 2,738-mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is 200 mm for the 2WD models and 210 mm for the 4WD variant.

Its design takes after the larger Haval H9, with a boxy profile, a broad front end, roof rails, body cladding and a rear-mounted spare tire. Buyers can choose from Iceberg White, Midnight Black and Stealth Grey.

The cabin gets a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and a 50-watt wireless charger as standard.

All variants also get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control with rear vents, front seat ventilation, a cooled center console, USB-A and USB-C ports and a 540-degree camera system.

The Hi4 PHEV 4WD adds a head-up display, off-road information display, panoramic sunroof, driver seat memory, ambient lighting, a camping lamp, 19-inch wheels and a 10-speaker audio system with amplifier.

The 2WD variants get regular cruise control. The Hi4 PHEV 4WD adds advanced driver assistance features such as intelligent cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, blind spot information, rear cross traffic alert and door opening warning.

All Haval H7 variants come with a seven-year or 200,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 10-year or 1,000,000-kilometer powertrain warranty and an eight-year or 200,000-kilometer battery warranty.
