Stand-up comedian Ate Gay, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, shared a positive health update on Facebook on Monday, 29 June.

The comedian happily revealed that the lumps on his nose and neck have disappeared months after undergoing treatment for Stage 4 cancer.

“Magandang balita—wala na akong bukol sa ilong at leeg. Result ng MRI. Yehey!” he wrote in the caption of a photo with his doctor.

With the encouraging MRI results, Ate Gay said he remains optimistic that his four remaining immunotherapy sessions will also bring positive outcomes.

“Salamat po sa dasal at sa mga anghel ko,” he added.

Ate Gay publicly revealed in 2025 that he had been diagnosed with mucoepidermoid squamous cell carcinoma, a rare form of cancer.
