mWell, MindNation partner on mental health

Digital healthcare platform mWell has partnered with global mental health organization MindNation to expand access to mental health services for Filipinos, amid growing concerns over stigma, affordability and limited access to professional support.

In a statement, mWell said the partnership will increase its network of certified mental health specialists, allowing more Filipinos to access qualified and culturally sensitive mental health care through its digital platform.

The company noted that mental health challenges remain underreported in the Philippines, where cultural factors and workplace concerns often discourage individuals from seeking help. It cited data showing that about 75 percent of Filipinos believe disclosing mental health concerns could affect their professional opportunities.

mWell president and CEO Chaye Cabal-Revilla said mental well-being should be treated with the same importance as physical health and emphasized the need to make support more accessible for Filipinos.

The platform offers a range of mental health services, including a free Mind Health Score assessment based on the World Health Organization’s WHO-5 Well-Being Index, self-guided wellness modules, and consultations with mental health coaches, psychologists and psychiatrists. Professional consultations are available starting at P499.

MindNation chief wellBeing officer Eizaleen Fusingan-Lappay said the collaboration aims to broaden access to qualified mental health specialists and strengthen support systems for Filipinos seeking care.

The partnership forms part of mWell’s broader effort to make healthcare more accessible through digital solutions. The platform, developed by Metro Pacific Health Tech Corp., recently won the Global Mobile (GLOMO) Award for Best Mobile Innovation Supporting Emergency or Humanitarian Situations at the Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.

mWell said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to ensuring mental health support is accessible to more Filipinos, regardless of location or financial circumstances.
