Green GSM Philippines has launched Premium Taxi, a seven-seat all-electric service for passengers who need more room than the company’s regular ride-hailing cars.

The new service uses black VinFast Limo Green vehicles and can accommodate as many as six passengers apart from the driver.

It is Green GSM’s second service tier in the country after Green GSM Car, which uses cyan-colored vehicles.

Premium Taxi will initially operate in Makati, Taguig, Mandaluyong and Pasig.

The coverage puts the service near major business districts, hotels, shopping areas and transport terminals, where families and groups often need a bigger vehicle for airport transfers or trips with several pieces of luggage.

A standard sedan can become cramped once several passengers have bags. A third row gives a group another option without splitting everyone across two bookings.

The service may also suit business travelers who want one vehicle for colleagues who share the same hotel or airport trip.

Fares appear on the vehicle’s meter and in the app, so passengers can follow the amount and view trip details while on the road.

Each Limo Green has three rows of seats, automatic air-conditioning and separate vents for the two rear rows.

An air filtration system also helps manage cabin air during the trip. The black exterior distinguishes the larger units from the Green GSM Car and gives passengers an easy way to tell the two services apart.

The electric drivetrain produces no combustion-engine noise or fuel fumes inside the vehicle. It also produces no tailpipe emissions during use.

Those traits may be most noticeable on longer journeys, although cabin space is likely to be the main draw for families, hotel guests and groups that would otherwise have to book two smaller cars.

Le Thi Thu Trang, chief executive officer of Green GSM Philippines, said the service was developed for trips that require more space and closer attention, which include family outings, airport runs and business appointments.

The Premium label rests mainly on the larger vehicle and the drivers assigned to the fleet. The release did not announce separate fare rates.

However, the service keeps familiar ways of getting a taxi through meter-based fares and street hailing, with the app offered as another booking option.

Green GSM said it had completed nearly five million trips and covered more than 32.6 million kilometers with electric vehicles in the Philippines as of 31 March 2026.

The company estimated that those trips avoided about 6,263 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Premium Taxi adds a larger option to that fleet as Green GSM builds its local operations. Its early four-city coverage also gives the company a chance to test demand in some of Metro Manila’s busiest travel areas before it considers a wider rollout.
