VinFast is giving Filipino riders two ways to buy into its electric motorcycle lineup as it prepares to roll out the Evo, Feliz II and Viper in the country.
The company said customers may either buy the battery outright or enroll in a battery subscription program.
The choice affects how riders charge, maintain and use their electric motorcycles, especially once battery-swapping stations become available.

BATTERY storage on the VinFast e-motorcycle gives riders access to home charging and, under the subscription plan, battery swapping.
Under the battery subscription option, customers buy the e-motorcycle without owning the battery. They instead pay a monthly battery subscription fee of P439 per battery.
VinFast is also offering an early promo. Customers who sign up on or before 31 July 2026 get a free battery subscription for one battery during the first 12 months. They also get up to 20 free battery swaps per month during the promo period.
The subscription plan gives riders access to VinFast’s planned battery-swapping network. They may still charge the battery at home.
Riders who prefer the usual ownership route may buy the battery outright. This removes the monthly subscription fee. It also means they cannot use VinFast’s battery-swapping stations.
VinFast said home charging will remain available for both types of customers. The e-motorcycles may be charged through a standard household outlet with the official 400-watt charger that comes with the unit. A 1,000-watt fast charger will also be offered as an after-sales option.
Charging time is estimated at three to four hours for one battery and six to eight hours for two batteries. The batteries may be removed from the motorcycle and charged separately.
VinFast said the batteries are interchangeable across the Evo, Feliz II and Viper models.
The company’s charging partner, V-Green, plans to deploy about 30,000 battery-swapping stations nationwide. The first locations are expected to open through VinFast dealerships before the network expands to more areas.
The battery swap feature will only be open to customers under the subscription program.
The Evo, Feliz II and Viper are being positioned as electric motorcycles, not low-power electric bicycles. VinFast said the models are designed for normal road use and are expected to go through the usual Land Transportation Office registration process before use on public roads.
Riders will still need to follow the same rules required for conventional motorcycles. These include LTO registration, a valid driver’s license with the proper restriction code, helmet use and road safety requirements.
VinFast said the three models are also designed to handle steep roads and two-passenger use. Actual hill-climbing performance will still depend on the model, rider and passenger weight, road grade, battery level, weather and road conditions.
Financing will be available through authorized VinFast dealers. Customers may ask dealerships for payment plans, requirements and application details.
The early booking program runs from 10 June to 18 July 2026, with a booking fee of P3,000.
