SM City General Santos is hosting a temporary UNIQLO pop-up store as part of efforts to support communities recovering from the recent earthquake that affected parts of Southern Mindanao.
The temporary store, located inside the SM mall, offers residents access to essential LifeWear products and will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Friday, 26 June.
UNIQLO said it is also offering a selection of LifeWear clothing at special prices to help residents meet their everyday needs during the recovery period.
The pop-up store complements the apparel retailer’s ongoing relief initiatives in the area, including the distribution of LifeWear items, AIRism innerwear, hot meals and financial assistance to affected communities.
UNIQLO Philippines' parent company, Fast Retailing, has donated ¥30 million, or about P11.3 million, in financial assistance to the SM Foundation and a partner relief organization, along with 2,000 AIRism clothing items.
Separately, UNIQLO Philippines mobilized P1 million in emergency cash assistance and donated 2,000 AIRism items and 3,000 pre-owned clothing pieces through its RE.UNIQLO program. The aid is expected to benefit more than 7,000 individuals in affected areas.
UNIQLO said it remains committed to supporting residents of General Santos and nearby communities through clothing assistance and community-focused initiatives as recovery efforts continue.
